Introducing Change
LORD has been a partner in building and adapting infrastructure to meet changing demands for power distribution. When overhead electric cables serving power to thousands of homes and industries need to be re-designed to go underground, LORD is the contractor to call. We have enabled this change in densely populated areas, with major roadways and industrial clients and little room for error. The Mall fo San Juan and Catalina's Mall in Caguas are examples of this high-stakes changeover from overhead to underground. In both projects LORD was instrumental to the project design, installed a gas-insulated substation (GIS), built the vault and made sure our client's needs were met on time, on budget, and with the highest standards of safety.
