Lord Construction Services, Inc. traces its origins to Frederic W. Lord, a student from M.I.T. and a visionary in the electrical engineering field, who founded Lord Electric Company in 1895, in Boston, Massachusetts. Since then, Lord has maintained its commitment to quality and innovation, as tribute to its founder.
In 1959, Lord Electric, expanded its presence to Puerto Rico where it began operating as an Electrical Contractor island-wide and later at other nearby Caribbean islands. Today, LORD Construction Group is headquartered in San Juan, Puerto Rico where it has grown to become a leader in design to build construction solutions and serving the Caribbean, Southern and Eastern seaboards of the United States. Our broad area of service has given us experience working in densely populated areas, installing ultramarine cables, taking cables from port areas to power plants and urban commercial centers.
Building on a century of experience, we are, and we work hard to be, the "go-to contractor". LORD has a regional subsidiary, LORD Construction Services in Miami. Our mission is to continue to innovate in quality and service so that, with our clients, we can build the future together.
